"It was an amazing experience!
I would recommend it to anyone.
Mostly because of the teachers, but also because of the experience.
Anyone can do it, not only yoga teachers.
So, please do it because it will not only help you, but also others!"

“Prie really takes the time to transfer knowledge in a way that’s really accessible and easy to understand. During his classes, when he teaches, he’s very good at hands-on adjustments and he doesn’t press you too hard, and he make sure that you’re really comfortable in whatever asana you’re in. Prie really cares about his students. He goes really out of his way to make sure that everybody feels at home, and he creates an environment that’s extremely positive and relaxing.”
- Roxy, New York

Pai enjoys a tropical climate with three distinct seasons. The cool season, from November to February, has pleasant weather and mild temperatures, making it the best time to visit.
The hot season, also known as the burning or smokey season, runs from March to June. During this time, agricultural burning can affect air quality, and temperatures soar.
The rainy season, from July to October, brings lush greenery and regular rainfall, cooling down the temperatures but making it humid. Each season has its unique charm, so you can enjoy Pai year-round depending on your preference.
The smokey season in Pai usually happens between February and April, when local farmers burn their fields to prepare for new crops. This leads to hazy skies and lower air quality. For visitors, especially those with respiratory issues, it is advisable to take precautions during this period. For the rest of the year, Pai offers clean air and clear skies, perfect for enjoying yoga and the beautiful natural scenery.
You can buy everything you might need in Chiang Mai or Pai, but we suggest you bring the following: Comfortable clothes for yoga, sandals and walking shoes, light rain jacket, personal toiletries, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, notebook and pens, reusable water bottle. We provide yoga mats and props, so you do not need your own.
The quickest way is to fly into Chiang Mai International Airport. Regular minivans run from Chiang Mai Arcade Bus Station to Pai. The journey takes about four hours, winding through beautiful mountain roads. From the bus station, it is only a 10-minute walk to our yoga school.
If you are up for an adventure, renting a car or motorcycle in Chiang Mai allows you to enjoy the trip at your own pace. The drive offers stunning views but be prepared for sharp turns and steep climbs.
No matter how you choose to get here, the journey to Pai is part of the experience, offering breathtaking scenery and a taste of Thailand’s northern charm.
Most travelers take advantage of the tourist visa exemption on arrival. This allows citizens from many countries to stay in Thailand for 30 days without a visa. If you need a longer stay, you can extend by an additional 30 days at an immigration office. Please check the latest entry requirements and eligibility for the visa exemption based on your nationality. Safe travels, and we look forward to welcoming you to Pai!
Vaccines are not mandatory for visiting Thailand, but some are recommended by doctors. Please speak to your healthcare provider for more information.
